  About The School

Breckinridge County High School

Dear BCHS Learning Community,

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome everyone to the Breckinridge County High School website.  It is a privilege to serve as principal of our great school.  Breckinridge County is a wonderful community located between Louisville and Owensboro, KY.  I would like to thank the entire Breckinridge County community for all of the support it provides us.  Breckinridge County High School serves grades 9-12 and offers a wide range of extracurricular activities.  We follow a traditional seven period schedule and begin school each day at 7:50 am and dismiss at 2:44 pm.

The faculty and staff at Breckinridge County High School are a very dedicated, hard working, and caring group of people.  Our goal is to provide all students with a great education and a wonderful high school experience.  Our top priority is to help all students graduate on time college and/or career ready.  High School is a time where lifelong friendships are formed and preparation for adulthood is undertaken.  We pride ourselves on maintaining a school culture focused on building strong and positive relationships.

We are very excited at BCHS to have the opportunity to make a positive impact on our students and community.  All of our students, parents, community members, and staff members are part of the BCHS family, and we value your opinions.  Please feel free to contact us by phone, email, or in person any time to share your thoughts, concerns, or just to get to know us.  Together, we can make a difference in the lives of our students at BCHS.
